USA
An independent federal agency that regulates and monitors interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable, by authority of the Communications Act of 1934 and other federal statutes. Among its broad powers, the FCC sets and enforces decency standards for radio and television programming (regarding language, nudity, violence and other content that is deemed inappropriate in relation to community standards).
